The response of the sports judge has arrived after the events of Inter-Milan in the Coppa Italia and the sensational dispute between Ibrahimovic and Lukaku: the two forwards were stopped for a day. Ibrahimovic was punished for a double warning “for non-regulatory behavior in the field and for incorrect behavior towards an opponent”. Lukaku, who had been booked on the field for his reaction, stops because he was warned, as do Kessie and Hakimi. This is the decision of the sports judge, which was based on the report of the referee Valeri. The Federal Prosecutor’s Office could then decide to open an investigation, for discriminatory behavior, by launching an investigation supplement with the acquisition of audio and video material.
The case had also returned Milan coach Stefano Pioli in the press conference to present the match against Bologna (Saturday 30th at 3 pm): «The quarrel between Ibra and Lukaku was not a good show. But I was a player too, certain things can happen. Of course I do not agree with them and I do not justify them, but we need to make a point. Ibra is not a racist, period. The club is always at the forefront of the fight against discrimination. Let’s put a point on the story. How is Ibra? He is determined, but as always. He is sorry for the red card but he is very excited to get the most out of tomorrow’s match ».
