Monday: Five Star Countdown

Tuesday: Rivals250 revealed

Wednesday: Offensive Position Order Revealed

Thursday: Defense position order revealed

Friday: State ranking published

5. QB Julian Sayin

Gorney Take: Julian Sayin was rumored to go wherever Arch Manning went (Texas or Georgia), the five-star quarterback would go second. With Manning committed to the Longhorns, the Bulldogs look to be in excellent shape in Carlsbad, California.

But a phenomenal summer visit LSU stood out and then Alabama and others struggle to keep up. So far, his two planned trips in the fall will be to Athens and Baton Rouge.

6. LB TJ Kapary

Gorney Take: Georgia is definitely a school to watch for TJ Capers and USC it fascinates him but Miami should be considered one of the best teams for many reasons as well. Capers said during a recent interview that Miami “feels like a family” and that he likes the development of players under the coach Mario Cristobalwho also attended Miami Columbus as a five-star linebacker.

7. WR Ryan Wingo

Gorney Take: Notre Dame could be a school to watch for Ryan Wing, but it appears that the Irish are not a lock and that things could still go in many directions. Many Big Ten teams including Michigan and others are working hard. Missouri and other Southeastern teams could also make more appearances.

*****

8. QB Jadyn Davis

Gorney Take: Michigan must like his position with Charlotte (NC) standout Providence Day as coach Jim Harbaugh and his staff have made Jadyn Davis a priority — especially as state of ohio landed by Dylan Raiola and Notre Dame he received a pledge from CJ Carr, the former Michigan coach Lloyd Carrgrandson.

Davis was also expected in North Carolina this weekend. Clemson is in the mix and so are others, but the Wolverines are in good shape.

*****

9. WR Micah Hudson

Gorney Take: Many teams are involved, but it could result in a decision between them Texas A&M and state of ohio. The Aggies made a real push early on Temple (Texas) stalwart Lake Belton, and that will be significant. But Micah Hudson has drawn comparisons to former Ohio State star receiver Garrett Wilson, also from Texas, so he’ll be something to watch.

Texas Tech, TennesseeOregon and others are involved.

*****

10. WR Joshis Trader

Gorney Take: state of ohio things are looking good soon for Joshis Trader, who could join Jeremiah Smith not only at Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna, but at Columbus College as the Buckeyes recruit him hard. Trader also plays on the same team, the South Florida Express.

But Miami here he will fight to the end along with other state and southeast schools. If Trader had to choose today, Ohio State would be the expected pick, but it could be interesting for Miami and others over time.

11. ATH Mike Matthews

Gorney Take: Clemson, Georgia, Alabama and other southeastern schools remain seriously in the mix for Mike Matthews, and there could be many visits this season, but they absolutely do not count Notre Dame also for Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview standout. The Irish’s new coaching staff and everything South Bend has to offer stands out.

The Tigers could hold a slight edge, especially since they are closer to home, but this is going to be a heated battle right now with a lot of moving parts.

*****

12. DT Justin Scott

Gorney Take: Notre Dame is considered Justin Scott’s front-runner and had an excellent visit to South Bend in late July. But plenty of Big Ten schools — Wisconsin, Michigan and others — will also be in the mix, as standout Chicago St. Ignatius is undergoing recruitment.

August was interesting Miami and LSU he offered Numerous national programs came in with offers in July, so things seem to be expanding for him.
