After many rumors, Amadeus has made official the songs and guests of the Sanremo 2024 cover evening from Fiorello to Viva Rai2!which will be staged at the Ariston Theatre Friday 10 February.
Almost at the opening of the episode, from the bed of his hotel room in Sanremo, Amadeus connected with his friend Ciuri to reveal the first 15 duets of the big names.
Alessandra Amoroso will perform with Boomdabash in a medley; Alfa with Roberto Vecchioni he will sing “Sogna Ragazzi Sogna” by Vecchioni himself; Angelina Mango with the string quartet of the Rome orchestra he will sing “La Rondine” by his father Pino Mango; Annalisa with the Lista Representative and the Artemia choir will sing “Sweet dreams” by Eurythmics; BigMama with GaiaNina and Sissi will sing “Lady Marmelade”; Bnkr44 with Pino D’Angiò they will sing the song published in 1981 by the latter “Ma Quale Idea”; Clara with Ivana Spagna and the children’s choir of the Teatro Regio of Turin will sing “The circle of life” by Ivana Spagna herself; Dargen D’Amico with BabelNova Orchestra will pay a great homage to Ennio Morricone; Diodato with Jack Savoretti they will bring Fabrizio De Andrè’s “Love come love go” to the stage; Emma with Bresh he will do a medley by Tiziano Ferro; Fiorella Mannoia with Francesco Gabbani will propose a “mirror” homage of the respective songs “Che sia benedetta” and “Occidentali’s Karma”; Fred De Palma with the Eiffel 65 will propose a medley of the latter’s successes; Gazelles with Thunderbolts he will sing “Notte prima degli exami” by Antonello Venditti; Geolier with Gigi D’AlessioGuè and Luchè will do a medley of rap and neo-melodic songs entitled “Strade”; Ghali accompanied by a well-known Tunisian producer will propose a medley entitled “Italiano vero” which will also include “L’Italiano” by Toto Cutugno.
At a later point in the episode of Viva Rai2! Amadeus went from the bed to the coffee lounge to announce the singers and songs chosen by the last 15 big names in the competition.
Il Tre with Fabrizio Moro will propose a medley of Fabrizio Moro’s greatest hits; Il Volo with Vasco Rossi guitarist Stef Burns they will perform “Who Wants to Live Forever” by Queen; Irama will star with Riccardo Cocciante “When a love ends” by Cocciante himself; La Sad with Donatella Rettore will sing “Lamette”; Loredana Bertè with Venerus he will sing ”Ragazzo mio” by Luigi Tenco; Mahmood with I Tenores di Bitti he will sing Lucio Dalla’s song ”How deep the sea”; Maninni with Ermal Meta he will bring to the stage ”Non mi hai niente”, the song with which Meta won the 2018 festival together with Fabrizio Moro; Mr.Rain with the DiVersi Gemelli he will sing “Mary”, one of the group’s most significant songs; Negramaro with Malika Ayane they will sing “La canzone del sole” by Lucio Battisti; Renga & Nek they will bring a medley of their hits to the stage; the Rich and the Poor with Paola & Chiara they will perform a medley of “It will be because I love you” and “Mamma Maria”; Rose Villain with Gianna Nannini they will perform a Nannini medley; Sangiovanni with the Spanish singer Aitana will perform a medley of ”Farfalle” and ”Mariposas” (the Spanish version of ”Farfalle”); the French Saints with Skin they will sing “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen; The Kolors with Umberto Tozzi they will perform a medley of Umberto Tozzi’s greatest hits.
